Hello and welcome to our website!

I'm Ada Sandoval-Madrid, and I am an International student teacher, instructor, mentor and coach.

Like you, I know what it feels like to step into a new country, not just as a visitor, but as someone trying to build a life and a future.

My own journey started when I was 15, moving from Mexico to Washington State as an exchange student. I learned quickly that passing tests was one thing, but figuring out how to truly connect with people, understand unspoken rules, and feel confident was a whole different challenge. I went through it all over again most recently when I moved to Canada for my postgraduate degree.

Those experiences didn't just shape my student life; they shaped my entire career. I've dedicated the last ten years to helping international students navigate that exact same path. I've been a teacher, a mentor, and even directed study abroad programs, giving me a front-row seat to both the struggles and the breakthroughs.

I have a Master's in Education, an MBA, and I'm a certified human resources professional in Canada, specializing in how people connect and succeed in professional settings. This mix means I understand your journey not just from my own heart, but from a professional standpoint—I know what employers and global organizations are really looking for.

Since 2013, I've had the incredible privilege of guiding more than 5,000 international students, just like you. I've celebrated their wins, helped them through tough moments, and watched them build amazing lives in new countries. Every single story has taught me something new and reminded me why this work matters so much.

I am truly excited to get to know you and to be a part of your journey. I have no doubt you will soon become one of the many successful students we've had the honor of guiding through the years.

Sincerely,

Ada
